Cultural Heritage

RLMS has been involved in several Cultural Heritage processes and Native Title negotiations. We have identified that effective communication between the proponent and the Traditional Owners is the key issue for a successful project. This sensitive issue in the past has been the downfall of many projects as the early communication between the two parties is often overlooked.

Our understanding of the Aboriginal culture and significant experience in dealing with representatives from different Land Councils provides a 'win/win' solution. We are also familiar with the current legislation and procedures for both the right to negotiate process (RTN) and the indigenous land use agreements (ILUA).
