Oil and gas (including coal seam gas) exploration and development in Queensland is subject to the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 and the Petroleum Act 1923.  Environmental aspects of petroleum activities are administered under the Environmental Protection Act 1994.  RLMS has extensive experience in dealing with legislative compliance for petroleum activities and can assist in all phases of project development from exploration to development.

We have experience with preparing applications for all petroleum authority types under the Act.  Additionally we can provide tenure management services that include report preparation, updating Environmental Authorities, legislative compliance audits, landowner management including notifications, liaison and compensation agreements, and assessments of exclusive possession tenure.
